Agosi has been appointed as an LBMA Referee by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) – one of the highest distinctions in precious metals assaying! Our colleagues Stefan Zorn (Head of Laboratories and QM) and Daniel Kusterer (Manager Laboratory) received the exciting news at the LBMA A+R Conference (March 16 – 19, 2025) in London.
As an LBMA Referee, Agosi is part of an exclusive group of independent testing laboratories (only seven worldwide) responsible for ensuring the quality standards of gold and silver bars for international trade.
Our responsibilities include:
✔ Certification & Testing: Verifying the purity of gold and silver bars according to LBMA standards
✔ Good Delivery List: Assisting in reviewing and updating the list of accredited refineries
✔ Comparative Analysis: Quality benchmarking with other leading laboratories
This appointment further strengthens our international reputation and market position.
